Can’t believe summer is already here! This year has been amazing in Ensenada. There is always something going on.  Just last weekend Between TJ and ENS we built 12 houses for local families! In One weekend!!!!  Jamie and I have been preparing for our summer cycles of MA. We’ve been visiting orphanages, shelters, rehab centers, churches setting up ministries and outreaches for our teams this summer. It has been so cool to connect with people all over Ensenada and see what God is doing through so many people!  

Today we started staff training for our Mission Adventure Staff. We have around 15 people who will be working with us full time for the summer. Many of them came to Ensenada just for the summer to work with us. For the next two weeks we will be sharing the heart of MA, preparing them for outreaches and trying to create a healthy team that can facilitate teams while also discipling students. Mid June our first team arrives!!!!

I am not sure Jamie nor I were prepared for the amount of planning that it would take to run this program. We spent many hours in an office planning out the summer on a white board. For instance our second cycle in June we have 96 kids here for a week, we broke them into 8 groups which means we needed to have 40 days of ministry/outreach (5 per group) planned for just one week! All that to say we love it. We are learning so much and have much more to learn. We are surrounded by other great missionaries who have been very helpful and already taught us a lot. We are so excited to see this summer unfold after talking about it for the last few months!

Prayer requests:

The ministries we work with. Many orphanages and rehabs have so many needs, we help as much as we can but it just isn’t feasible to meet all of their needs. Pray that God will use us to bless them both spiritually and physically

Our summer staff. Pray that they will be effective leaders this summer. Pray that they will be willing to be used by God and that they will grow more this summer.

Pray for the students and teams coming this summer. For almost every student that comes this will be a life changing experience.

Pray for Ronnie and Jamie. Pray for our marriage, health and finances. Pray we can be effective and healthy leaders during this busy season. Pray that we keep God as our main focus no matter what comes our way. Pray that God will continue to use us and that we will have the wisdom to discern his will.
