Family recieved a home, the day they were given the keys it was the youngest girls 5th birthday. She is wearing a B-day crown:)
The last several weeks/months have been amazing. As you can see from the pictures we have been working hard with Mission Adventures and Homes of Hope. A few weekends ago we built 10 houses on our presidents gathering weekend. David Crowder came to our base and performed. It is was a special weekend! Over 500 kids came through our Tijuana Mission Adventure program this year and over 1,000 if you include our sister base in Ensenada. What a blessing. God is doing great things here in Baja and using this place to change the lives of youth from all over the world. Kids came for Mission Adventures from all over, Norway, Europe, Canada, Mexico, and many U.S. states to work alongside us and bless the poor of Tijuana and Ensenada.

Learning/training how to build with styrofoam and concrete. This is how Homes of Hope houses are being built in Uganda.
Jamie and I have some big changes coming our way…….
We were asked if w
e wanted to lead the Mission Adventure program at our Ensenada base!…. So, next month we will be moving to Ensenada and begin training!!!! We will be working alongside the current leaders until May and by next summer we will be leading Mission Adventures in Ensenada, Mexico! While this is a super exciting opportunity it is also a huge step of faith. This is a very old (1986) program that is run very well and will require lots of time, energy and responsibility. We are honored to take the challenge. Also, the move itself will be a step of faith. Currently we live in a house with two roommates making our rent fairly cheap. We will not have roommates in Ensenada. The base is located downtown so rent can be a bit more pricey. We will be paying more than double in rent than we currently pay. Also our current apartment is furnished whereas most places in Ensenada will not come furnished. So we will be looking for new furniture: refrigerator, stove, bed, couch, we don’t have these things yet and are relaying on God to provide. We are still unsure of where we will be living, we will temporary be in an apartment close to base but will need to find another place fairly quick. Please continue to pray for us as we step out in faith in this chapter of our ministry! and if you would help please let us know! Blessings!
