Man what a rush! The last several weeks have been super busy and fun. Jamie’s parents visited us in February. It was so great to see them and they got a taste of Mexico. They talked like they were coming back to visit soon! Hope so!
Spring Mission Adventures kicked off at the beginning of March. We have witnessed God do so much since then. It’s been a blast meeting new people and introducing them to a new culture. 120 students from Norway came all the way to Mexico to build a few houses, bless several orphanages and see a new Country and how they can help. We also took them to several other ministries around Tijuana. La Roca Church just planted a church in the Tijuana Dump. A community of people live and make a living by sorting thru trash. It is a sad, dirty and corrupt life. We took our team and handed out flyers and soap to promote the new church. Spent a lot of time praying for this community.
We had 100 Canadian kids and a few youth groups from the States also come down for MA. Many kids were touched by God this last month. Many eyes were also opened to the needs here in TJ. We are so blessed and grateful to be apart of what God is doing here.
Jamie and have have floated from leading MA teams and are also still staffing the DTS school. The DTS has 3 more weeks of lectures and then they head out on outreach. We took the 13 DTS students camping this last weekend and had a blast. It was good for them to get away and have some time to be in nature. This week Jamie will be starting a mural on the YWAM base. We’ll put some pictures up once its done.
Please keep us in your prayers as we continue in this busy season.
